tapA few years ago I was introduced to this mysterious healing method called, TAPPING. My brother-in-law is a massage therapist and frequently comes across new methods of feeling gooood. I skimmed through his pamphlet and E-Dawg aka my husband, guided me through tapping here, there and everywhere on my face and hands while I said these weird sentences and even hummed a ditty. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing but my headaches went away every time I tapped. Shortly thereafter we went to Hawaii and I promptly forgot about tapping and anything else that didn’t include the beach-sunset-sex-beach-sunrise-pineapple-sandinmyshorts.

A few months ago I went on amazon to order two books I knew I needed in my life. As I typed in the first book title, “Mind Over Medicine” by Lissa Rankin, M.D. I was surprised to find that it was available in a 3-pack with the other book I wanted, “Crazy Sexy Diet” by Kris Carr. And right there staring at me was “The Tapping Solution” by Nick Ortner. Ah yes! Tapping! Aha, back into my life it came and what a blessing! Turns out it’s become very widely used, highly respected and there are multiple variations available to us.

What is Tapping? Also known as, Emotional Freedom Technique/EFT. The wise Gabrielle Bernstein refers to it as “acupressure and science having sex”. By tapping on specific meridians while saying affirmations you can quickly and effectively take the emotion and pain out of mental and physical issues. It’s amazing for PTSD, anxiety, stress, physical ailments, and so much more!

Here are links to my favorite EFT videos and books!

The Tapping Solution is incredible. They just wrapped up the 6th annual Tapping World Summit and I was able to tune into some mind blowing lectures. Get hip!

The Tapping Cure is another excellent book that gave me lots of insight on the wide range of things to use tapping for, including with your children!

And here is Gabrielle Bernstein with a guided tapping for stress relief!

Gabby B Tapping!

I currently love Brad Yates aka the EFT Wizard and I do his video for Trauma & Abuse regularly. It’s brought immense relief! Find him here.

I want to hear from you! If tapping is already a part of your routine please tell us about your experience and if it’s new to you then try it out and let us know how it goes!
